Every day, millions of people travel in a car. In fact, the average person spends about 3 years of their life in a car! Have you ever stopped to think about how clean the inside of the car is? Most people care for the outside of their car by washing and waxing, but don’t think to disinfect or clean all the parts on the inside that they come into contact with on a daily basis.  In addition, many people eat and drink in their cars and any crumbs/spills contain and harbor more bacteria that we think!

Getting Employees Excited about Maintaining a Clean Work Environment

With Back to School season upon us and flu season coming up, it’s important that everyone works together to maintain a clean work environment.

Regular cleanings from a professional commercial cleaning company are crucial in keeping the amounts of germs down and preventing the spread of germs. However, there are small cleaning tasks that employees can do in between these professional cleanings to help.

National Preparedness Month

September is National Preparedness Month. While no one wishes for a natural disaster, they can strike at any time! Having a plan in place may seem unnecessary now, but if/when disaster strikes, you will be happy you prepared for the worst!

First, make sure that you are equipped to receive watches and warnings for your area. You don’t want to be caught off guard and risk further damage to your business. Receiving such watches/warnings, would allow you time to prepare for evacuations, boarding up windows, bringing in outside equipment, etc. This can help lessen the cost of overall damage that may occur.
